Day 3: Field Trips!

We’ll be boarding buses and vans to visit some Texas caves and karst and learn first-hand about the uniqueness of these resources, the threats that they face, and their management (or mis-management).  In the evening we will be heading to Bracken Bat Cave for a reception and to see this jewel.  Unfortunately, most of the bats will already have left for their winter homes in Mexico, so the awesome emergence flight will be but a trickle of bats, but still super cool.
